I Won't Be Lied To Anymore, Gianola’s debut full length solo release, was composed and recorded throughout the Covid-19 pandemic in the isolation of his home. From the beginning Gianola chose a select array of sounds to create a series of compositions inspired by synesthesia-induced reactions to music. A marriage of melodicism and ambience came together through a casio keyboard combined with a series of effects pedals, guitar and electronic drum samples, creating blots of colors jumping from a black canvas, fused together by Gianola’s compositions.
